During COVID I argued with Sal multiple times...

about the concept that many companies and people were self-shutting down because of COVID, regardless of government mandates.

When I explained, for example, that bars and restaurants were suffering not just because they were being shut down for a time but because people weren't going out (of their own volition) he couldn't wrap his arms around this concept because he was still going out and since he was well that was just abstract to him.
