Well he's not. It was a global period of inflation first of all. Second, I know exactly why oil prices rose. It's not like demand soared above pre-covid levels (which would have had to happen if Pickle was right), it was because oil production dropped significantly because no wells were being drilled during covid due to demand drop and health concerns. It was a supply driven rise in prices across the board. Demand simply returned to pre-covid levels.
