On 5. Some of the young big men like Butler and Pierce seem to think of themselves as perimeter players (not to mention Vanover). They need to develop an inside game. I think that's why Gates gives Carrelo Martin so many minutes, he positions himself where he can at least assist the team. Carter and Shaw mix it up inside on offense and defense but both have limitations with size/offensive skill respectively.
Honor's role has changed out of necessity. He's asked to be more of a scorer this year. He really cannot create his own shot inside and that shouldn't be his role. Either drive and dish or limit his shooting to open threes. East is really the only consistent shot creator the offense has. Bates is inconsistent. Maybe Tonje can create some offense once he's healthy.
