In expecting to take outside shots. The issue is he isn’t making any. This new narrative that he’s been some kind of inside player and Gates is having him chuck 3’s all of a sudden isn’t true. He’s playing like ****, but when he was in the portal people knew he was a fast break trailer who spotted up.
His shots, like others were wide open. At the end of the day guys have to make open shots. If Missouri shoots just normal/low and hits 7 out of the first 20 instead of 1 or 2 you’re talking about a 15-18 point difference with no change in play.
The issue is the roster just isn’t that great. It’s not going to change and asking players who’ve played one way 4 years to change won’t make a difference.
