I'll be rooting for the guy really hard. I know there's a number of baseball people who really believe in him. Actually, it's a lot of the same people who believe in Steve Bieser and didn't want him fired. Similar to Bieser, his "good guy o meter" is off the charts. That wins him a lot of support, but my initial reaction is I would have liked to see another year of Bieser rather than hiring Jackson now. Doesn't seem like an upgrade and a hire we most likely could have made after next season. I hope they interview Hobbs.
