was not exactly well received by the fan base initially either.

Kerrick Jackson has strong ties to the state and knows all about this job. Plus the same guy that played a big role in hiring him at Memphis is playing a huge role in this search as well.

I am more excited for fall baseball this year rather than watching another Bieser team with massive roster turnover and hearing the same platitudes from everyone about how this time the culture is better, etc. I am not blaming Steve Bieser but there wasn't an abundance of optimism around these parts.
