eco-friendly. But solar does have a lot of promise for a future energy source. Solar panel prices have plummeted while their efficiency has gone up. With the adoption of EVs pushing battery tech, hopefully we see systems to make and store residential energy become even more affordable because reliance on the grid for cloudy days and night time energy is the biggest downside of solar.
