Probably any other conference. Luckily for MU those are the guys you can recruit and develop and for the most part do not require a ton of NIL money. So...get the linemen and get some playmakers locked in with an NIL deal as freshman like they did with Burden and they have a chance to be competitive. Another key as we know all too well is the QB position. Pinkel was pretty good at getting QBs. Drink hasn't had the success yet but looks like he can recruit some. Hopefully the worm has turned on that. The problem now is if you have more than one good QB you are likely to lose one to the portal.
