With that occasional 10 win season where you're a player for the division.

Like you said, if you can focus on being really good at certain positions and decent everywhere else with a solid philosophy, you're going to win some games. That's exactly what Pinkel did.

We were almost always above average at QB, WR, and DL in his years. That alone was good for 7-5 or better most years. Then the teams who had really good players beyond that won divisional titles ANDOR double digit games.
