like Mizzou than signing day IMO.

Mizzou is a recruit raw talent and develop it type program, like in the Pinkel years. But now you develop them and they bail in the portal. Let someone else do that and focus on building your team around more finished products in the portal. That mixed with hopefully a few of your HS recruits developing and sticking around can give you some good teams.
