I don’t hold illusions MU is winning the SEC or national titles. In that regard, I like the new B12 because I think it will have a lot of parity in it with schools similarly situated to MU. I can actually envision MU winning a trophy in the B12.I struggle to in the SEC.
I would rather win some games, then get beat more often than not. And MU doesn’t have the culture to win in the SEC much. Find a cultural fit you can compete in, I say. The SEC is not it. Cashing checks when you are still going to not be able to raise as much money as most of the other schools anyway leaves me cold.
Lastly, I didn’t create the culture at MU but it isn’t changing. So be true to thyself Mizzou!
