Norm and Danny Nee left at the same time

So if you have no familiarity with Danny Nee its safe to assume you also don't remember Norm's tenure at MU.

Norm was unique. He had his faults and shortcomings but was also obviously a great coach. I think in some ways we can do better, but overall he is probably the pinnacle coach for MU.

But again, I think most everyone is just wishing for MU to return to pre-2014 levels. Never going to happen under Cuonzo, we move farther away from that the longer his tenure lasts. It isn't very difficult to find a coach that can return us to that level, most any decent coach can do it. And FYI the AD was terribly run when Norm was here and most success he has was in spite of the AD and overcoming them.
