Haith was building towards nothing. It was always year-to-year. Worse - He didn't give one rip about character. Haith *sucked*
KA was brought in to "Gary Link" the team - clean house (and Haith's mess), so an established coach could come in and build. Kudos to Kim for being a True Son and taking one for the team, as it were.
Kim did his job (pretty damn well, I might add) - Martin has, thus far, fell *well* below the expectations placed upon him when hired.
KA was a conduit - a patsy - a transition. Honestly --- between weeding out the ne'er-do-wells *AND* maintaining a GPA in good standing with the NCAA --- he did a pretty damn good job.
Probably better than CM if you think about the directive given to each coach...
