Martin had a tournament team before he blew the whistle one time - and you know it.

Props to him for getting the signees, the transfers, the returning talent (part of why he took the job).

MARTIN HAD A TOURNAMENT TEAM BEFORE THE FIRST PRACTICE

CM had a *MASSIVE* recruiting class --- a tournament team - and all the good-feeling-this-time-it-will-be-different that *every* new coach gets with recruits. What did he do with it?

MPJ - Injured. Fine. Jontay injured - fine. Where where the recruits that signed up *before*(and the next class) - (And the next class) the Porter boys (and family) bilked MU out of all the money they could?

Nothing explains CM's failure to capitalize on his hiring and signing better classes those first couple of years after his initial class.

Kids can look past injuries. What they can't look past is a coach who doesn't give them a lot of confidence.

Hence - Cuonzo Martin...
