the Indemnity Agreement. It was a large part of the basis of the bargain of them allowing him to move to LA.
I'm not sure what defenses he would have to invalidate it. Blaming the lawsuit which he was supposed to indemnify the NFL against on the Chargers stadium plans ain't gonna fly.
If Kroenke can get some traction and avoid a dismissal of the nullification suit he might force the NFL's hands, i.e. the final outcome of the indemnity agreement be enforceable or not may not really matter because if STL gets a monetary judgment against the NFL, they'll come after those deep NFL pockets. Kroenke might be holding the entire bag in the end, but if the NFL gives up a team, that would be a big win for Kroenke.
I'm not saying STL doesn't get a team out of the lawsuit, but I don't see it based on the indemnity agreement being nullified and then the NFL feeling they have to avoid a monetary judgment by horse trading with STL to give them a team.
