it all impossible....yes...a City-County merger.

Indianapolis has a City-County unified government and is growing like wildfire. Indianapolis for crying out loud. No lifelong STL resident should ever be willing to concede anything to Indianapolis. But it has a cohesive government and it is outrunning the Lou.

A City-County merger STL would suddenly give you a wide property tax base, a single government that has to agree what time of day it is, etc. Cats and dogs, living together, mass hysteria.
