wouldn't have resonated for me. I don't know if this is the case for these kids because times have changed since I was a kid. I suspect things haven't changed that much though. He just puts on this growing into a man so thick its too much for me. I didn't need that. I moved out at 18 to go to school and that was it. I was on my own and responsible for my life, job, school tutition, rent, etc.

To me the father figure should be helping and more involved in middle school and high school. That's when they really need it, not in college.
