Though I think Love and Bates are going to hurt.

You could use Barnett as a comp as well. Shaw from a size standpoint is between Barnett and Mitch. If Mizzou gets Shaw then we could see an elite defensive team within a couple of years if Brazile, Durugodon and Keita develop. That would allow Mizzou to switch like you need to in ball screen coverage.
