'rate' is exactly the same as a per 40 minute? Both are rate measures.

Many of the other things are directly related to his increased minutes, just as I originally stated.

I listed five stats that everyone looks at and in four of them there was no significant movement. Only his rebounding made any actual movement and that was likely due to the fact that there were no other bigs in the team his senior year.

His FG% Went up by 5%, that means for every 20 shots he took he made one more. He averaged less than 8 shots per game. That means he made one extra basket every three games. Are you seriously arguing that is an obvious improvement?
