been a better fit for the big ten in my opnion.

Being more thought of than Rutgers does not equal "solid addition". My point is that I think both Rutgers and Maryland were huge fails and most casual college fans were a little surprised by those two choices.

I think it was a far lesser addition than their "prestige" should have allowed them.
