Clearly they're not worried about public opinion... They're worried about the irrefutable impact that it will have on college athletics.

All the major California schools put out similar statements, but the bill passed anyway. Remarkably, liberals don't listen to reason even if it comes from people on their own side with direct experience in the matter.

And to reiterate what I said earlier, every single NCAA member opposes NIL. The NCAA wouldn't be fighting it tooth & nail if that weren't the case.
