Kim Anderson looked great on paper for Mizzou, however in one 30 minute conversation Alden should have been able to see that he was not capable of recruiting and connecting with today's top talent.

Cuonzo has his schtick with his obnoxious voice and social justice solemnity, but few coaches have followed the exact same mediocre pattern at multiple schools like Cuonzo. Haith comes to mind. But the Cuonzo/Porter deal was a gamble worth taking...just time to reassess.

Anyway, i don't think its a crapshoot. Should be able to tell with research and interviews who knows what they're doing.
