Know-nothings, Whigs, Socialist Labor, Bull Moose, Dixiecrats...we've had all kinds of parties of varying strength, but we never had the mass communication like we have now to "inform" people who want to participate.

Our political arena has devolved into: State run authoritarianism vs Freedom seeker. The republican party is not up to the challenge, so there is no choice but to demand an alternative...how many election cycles might it take?
