as in, non participation is the only moral choice.

and pickle would of course defend the the child murderer's rights nonstop.

He'd probably argue the murderer can just write a check to the parent, to cover the loss.

Or, that the parent at least owes the murderer the cost of the bullet, because of the money he saved the parent, due to the cost of raising children.
