Cops have always had their thin blue line, always back up your fellow cop no matter what they do mentality , not just now, but for decades upon decades.
and it worked well for the cops, not necessarily the citizens.
The change, is that everyone can now provide videos of the cop behavior, that they used to testilie about and deny.
Cops need to understand they can't keep the worst members of the force on anymore. No more druggies, drunks, racists, just plain stupid anymore.
Having said that, I feel it's a 10% issue. 90% of the cops are decent, people to rely on, but they've enabled the bottom feeders to exist and create havoc.
BLM rhetoric demands you say every single cop is racist, bad. That, I reject entirely.
