allowing people to come and make their case against wearing masks in school in advance of the vote. You should have seen this ****show that ensued. Every f'ing imbecile in town showed up to pontificate and convey the data and facts that they had assembled that nobody else had seen or even realized. They had to sit there for hours and listen to all those people and treat them like what they were saying had actual meaning and was worthy of consideration. It also emboldened those people to think that their perspectives should matter.

Its fine to have those perspectives, but those people need to be talking to themselves and not given a seat at the table in adult matters. Our society is going to erode if we take the stance that even imbeciles get their fair say and need to be taken seriously.
