On item 3, I'd be very surprised if Georgia law supported their attempt at a citizen's arrest.

They had absolutely no evidence the man committed any crime. The alleged crime was not even in the time frame the man was jogging in the neighborhood. The only reason they chased him was because he was black they assumed the perpetrator was black. Being black should not make you a suspect.

The DA again stretches the truth by saying they were in hot pursuit of a burglary suspect. He was not a suspect. There was nothing the runner did that made him a suspect. He just happened to be black and running in the same neighborhood.

This should and will most likely end up as a civil rights crime.
