I don't disagree with that assertion. I don't reject the premise that it happened in this case, but I wouldn't assert it either.

It seems to me that the original projections were based upon if we did nothing. Instead we shut the country down with enforced social distancing in some areas. That alone might explain the deviation from the original modeling.

Or so it seems to me.
