there's a significant price incentive to do so.

If we can cut out the middle-man(dealerships) and save 10-20%, then dealerships will be dead overnight.

The reason Amazon put so many companies out of business was price, more than convenience. I'd rather go to the store and buy what I need now, today, if it were the same price as online. But I'll wait for shipping for a significant savings.
