it was a nice experiment, but their infastructure for support and service is atrocious

The few claims I've seen on damage to Tesla vehicles is horrendous. 4 months waiting on a bumper, 8 months waiting on a fender & door. You basically have to go buy a new car while you're waiting for your Tesla to be repaired.

They don't have enough service centers, they don't have extra parts for repairs as these vehicles get older. Their vehicles are overpriced by about 25% compared to models from BMW, Mercedes, etc., that are coming down the pipe.

The future doesn't look good for Tesla. They started selling cars before they had the infrastructure to support them. There's all of 1 Tesla service center for about a 150 mile radius around Kansas City, for example(non in the state of Kansas, only 2 in MO are KC and StL)
