About how they overcome and perservered but to say exclusively is an exaggeration of epic proportions. Dissect the roster of any pro sports team and I bet u will find the minority have come from bad home, watching their parents do drugs and holding the hand of their best friend as he dies from a gun shot wound....those are the stories we hear and we hear them often so it's easy for the pool sample to seem to be made "exclusively" of similar ppl....
Regardless that's getting off base....reality is ppl need to be held responsible for decisions they make....we all know risks of every day activities we do each day....that's why we buckle up when we drive why we wear helmets on our motorcycles and it's why we try eat healthy and why we take into consideration the risks and and either avoid certain activities bc they are too dangerous or we just refrain from it all together ....football at any level is no different....they wear helmets and pads bc it's a violent barbaric sport....they knew this going in, I'm not gonna drive to LA to visit Skid Row at 2 in the morning and stop and ask for directions and expect anything more than what I knew all along ....
Plain and simple everyones adults we are talking about and IDC their race , sex, religion or background. Ppl need to stop blaming other ppl or corporations for their decisions bc at one point in time they had more access to resources than 99% of us will ever know and given every opportunity to succeed on or off the football field. IDC why their reasons for choosing to play football, the adult in them chose it. Live with it.
Like I said earlier, it's out there now, it's no secret the dangers of playing any sport. Most of these guys want to play and get paid then after they retire and are broke again get paid again.
