I like how you mention the *one* time Pinkel beat Oklahoma... What was his overall record against them?

I also like how you try to portray the Pinkel era as domination over the North division. He only won the division *twice* over the course of a decade, and was blown out by the South champ in both title games.

Furthermore, most of the North division programs *NOT* coached by Pinkel were able to win conference titles and/or reach BCS bowl games during his tenure, including K-State, Kansas, and Colorado. It's too bad we didn't have one of their coaches — we might have won something meaningful.

Instead, we had 15 years of Pinkel, and 0 conference titles or BCS/NY6 bowl games to show for it.
