I watched almost every game of his freshman year and saw

none of these moves. He wasn't Laurence Bowers as a freshman who was weak but also playing behind Leo Lyons and Demarre Carroll as seniors but still showed tons of flashes. He was weak and had limited low post moves and couldn't get more than 8 minutes on a team that won 8 games and was stuck behind Reed Nikko and Russell Woods on the bench. I think to expect him to be anything other than a 10-15 MPG foul-eater is foolish at this point. He wasn't some blue chip recruit who just had a bad freshman season like Smith. He was a below average recruit on a terrible team who couldn't garner any minutes against terrible big man competition on his own team.
