but if a team contacts a player and gurantees them to be signed, the salary structure for draft choices is set, so basically, they are offering a salary. Why give an agent the % they earn then? In other words, if this scenario were true, why would you need an agent? You could get a lawyer for cheaper to write a contract.

So to be redundant, I don't think this is valid.
