While I don't think this team will get to 9 wins, I haven't read many 'experts' articles that really researched this team. Most of them took 10 seconds, like you did, and said well they were bad last year, and don't see how they improved so they will be bad this year. I don't discount an honest appraisal of this team, even if it is a bad one, but unless they give reasons other that simple revisionists ones then I discard them.
