coach would have taken advantage of that if their school allowed them to, but few of the top/major programs allowed it.
That's what made it so advantageous for the coaches who were allowed to take prop.48 players, like Crean. They had exclusive rights to a lot of talent that were off the table for coaches at other major programs.
