ability to recruit will diminish the second Indiana parts ways with him, and will continue to erode every year he gets older and more washed up at Missouri.

Here are some great points from 'alwaysright' that were lost in the shuffle last night:

"Crean is not terrible, but he is a damn roller coaster. He does not coach his kids up at all. If his recruiting hits, he's pretty good. If there's a recruiting miss, he bombs."

"You take a guy with a high and unproven ceiling over a guy with a known but limited ceiling. You hire Crean and in 5 years you'll be sick of him but won't be able to fire him."

"He can't make the tournament every year with the talent he gets at Indiana. There is no way in hell he's making it every year at MU. He is a roller coaster. Completely incapable of any consistency."
