Absolutely -- John-freaking-Wooden couldn't motivate players who don't care.

Building a roster of guys who care, stay out of trouble and want to improve is exactly why KA is still here as head coach. The roster/recruits Haith left were a bunch of prima-donna selfish pot-smoking snowflakes who were perfectly content just being a member of a major D-1 program - and had *zero* intention of either getting better individually, or, becoming more productive for the team.

Synergy is what a basketball team needs - and this group is going to win more games with less talent than the prior 2 teams did because of it...
