He had basically caught up with Puryear by the end of the season. Or close to it. He was a better defender and rebounder, Puryear the more skilled scorer. A 3 man frontcourt if Puryear, Woods, & Gant is better than Puryear, Woods, and Smith/Kemp/Nikko/Jackson/Barnett.

Had he stayed he was a good bet to play 20-25 minutes and get around 10 points, 6 rebounds, 3 combined steals/blocks.
