every other program in the nation due to our self imposed penalties and knew that it needed a new coach well in advance of that. We had a jump start on everyone, and had more resources at our disposal than almost every other program that would be looking for a new coach.

To say there was nothing good out there implies that not one good coach switched schools or was available last season, which is obviously not true.
