such a low opinion of MU basketball. It becomes very hard to recover when that kind of thinking becomes the accepted norm.

The important thing we had going on as it pertains to trying to find an adequate head coach is that we had given up on making a reasonable effort to compete in men's basketball. That is really the only driving factor. The rest is just excuses.
