but I somewhat disagree with you. I don't think the 5th down would have mattered at all. He never would have succeeded. No amount of "success" would have changed things, if anything it would have prolonged their insane policies that were making us a laughingstock. It was only after 73-0 and Stull left and Larry Smith absorbed 43-0 in Champaign that some of us rebelled and demanded changes.
