Basically it was a comparison to RG3 not being able to duplicate his college passing and relying on scrambling to a non-passing QB in the SEC. For sure NFL defenses are much better, but the result could be the same. Injuries if the D doesn't respect your passing ability. See Kaepernick, once the NFL let him take off. Newton in the SB.
