IF that's what we are going to do. It almost never works at a high level. Just looking at Mizzou it didn't work with Daugherty/Farmer or Jones/Skornia. Or years ago, Adler/Seitz. I'm not talking about what they did with Daniel coming in for a series behind Smith.
The last one I recall with success was Joe Germaine at Ohio State and the other guy (can't recall).
Larry Smith was literally obsessed with it - tried it two different times in his Mizzou tenure. I really don't know why it doesn't work. Whether you telegraph plays by bringing one guy in or what. Or a guy can't get in rhythm - I'm not really sure why it doesn't work but for the most part it doesn't
