You have to go to a complete objective NFL model with objective guidelines so you know before the season what u must do - I commend him for saying everything clearly and to the point. It HAS to be objective like the NFL. There is too much at stake in football You can’t have 11 human beings with implicit bias with absolutely no guidelines “picking” the teams - he was right in so many ways in what he said. In the NFL it’s objective- you need to beat out the other three teams in your division. End of story. Or up a wild card mathematically determined. And the other thing is it keeps the fans engaged throughout the season. That was his other key point. But he kept going back to the 11 human beings picking the teams with no guidelines without insulting them and how ridiculous it is and how it needs to be done away with

Coach Drinkwitz finally said it. I’m not sure why he said he would “get in trouble with Sankey” for that. he even suggested a specific way to do it and that if you didn’t want to do divisions, your goal to qualify would be to mathematically finish in the top eight in the SEC.
