...get complicated. You're correct that any increase in football scholarships, for example, would lead to an increase in women's sports by rule. That could be great news for non-revenue/Olympic sports (men, too). But even the richest of the rich (Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, Michigan, Ohio St., etc.) are scaling back in those sports until they figure out how the splits will now be handled. The important thing to remember is that they don't *have* to increase roster size...they simply have the ability to do it if the dollars make sense.
