Monetarily, they are losers. But some are worth trying to be good in for the brand reach they provide per solid and/or growing TV interest. Which helps bring in more money when the SEC shops their content.

Soccer hasn’t proven to be the draw that WBB, VB, softball and gymnastics have shown to be. That being said, Alice Walton seems to like the low profile stuff since that’s what she spends on. Not much bang for her bucks but it’s her money.
