I don't like what the administration is doing on climate change. Nothing to mitigate it, withdrawing funding from research and analysis, and basically completely ignoring it. Things will get worse over time, and insurance will definitely be impacted. Insurance prices will go up (already happening), and some areas will have to rely on state-sponsored insurance. I basically agree with you though. The government should not be mitigating and doing the R&A on climate issues due to insurance reasons, they should be doing it because it is in the long-term interest of everyone.
