It sounds like your argument in support of JG would be

If expressed in syllogistic form:

A. Rising CO2 levels can cause a greenhouse effect
B. We have rising CO2 levels
Therefore we have a greenhouse effect

A. A greenhouse effect can cause global warming
B. The earth is getting warmer
Therefore the warmer temperatures on earth are caused by the greenhouse effect

A. If Trump's DEA had not changed policies insurance companies would insure homes and businesses in areas that they currently had pulled out of.
B. Trump knows this, but is ignoring this
Therefore Trump is a liar.

There are some problems with the flow of the above argument.

Could you &/or JG fix what seems to be a non-sequitur by filling in the gaps, and or, make other changes as needed to make the argument more sound?
