into thinking your failures are all because of yourself, completely ignoring events outside your control.
And it’s a way for the rich to jerk themselves off thinking they got where they are only because their were smarter and worked harder than everyone else, ignoring chance events that happened (whether by birth or opportunity) that not everyone has.
